Quillen4Congress Campaign to conduct voter registration outreach.
The Quillen4Congress campaign will be at the entrance to the Tri-Cities Flea Market on Saturday, May 29 from 9am to 2 pm and at the same times on Sunday, May 30th at the Jonesbororough Flea Market offering citizens the oportunity to register to vote.
According to the Pew Research Institute, the First District of Tennessee had the lowest voter participation rate in the country in 2016 and was 3ed from last in 2018. Tennessee has made it easy to register to vote with the GoVoteTN.com website. All you need is a driver’s license and you can register in minutes. We will be providing a terminal with a live internet connection and help to anyone desiring to register.
In addition, Carter M. Quillen will be there to answer any questions that voters may have about his candidacy for the 1st District U.S. House seat and his position on the issues.
